While the "80-20 rule" concept in ubiquitous, not many real world distributions truly follow a distribution where the top 20% make up 80% of the volume (even if it does follow a Power Law). It is usually something like the top 50% make up 80% of the volume.

An "80-20 distribution" is an extreme case.
