We've all been there Thomas. What I did (and still do) is set small goals. When first starting out, maybe my goal isn't to get a client just yet, it's to make an Upwork/Fiverr profile. Then it's to submit 1 proposal a week. Then 2 proposals a week.. and so on.

A big thing to keep in mind is that you will grow and learn through the process, which will naturally translate to bigger goals.
